Sky is the limit for a high skilled nanotechnology researcher.A survey of micro and nano professionals finds the average salary in micro and nanotechnology in the US is $97,978, and 75 percent said they expect a raise in 2006. That will put the average over the $100,000 mark by year's end.On a global basis, the average salary in micro and nanotechnology is $84,605.81 percent of micro and nano employees in India, where the current average salary is $15,850, expect a raise of more than 5 percent in 2006.The highest paid profession with micro and nanotechnology: partners in legal services firms in the US.
